埃及热门度假地发生惨剧：眼镜蛇“顺裤腿钻入”导致德国男子殒命

一名57岁德国男子在埃及一处豪华海滩度假村观看耍蛇表演时，被一条剧毒眼镜蛇咬伤，不幸身亡。

报道称，一名游客在埃及家庭度假期间观看表演时，被一条爬进裤内的毒蛇咬伤后死亡（A tourist has died after a snake crawled up his pants and bit him as he watched a show on a family holiday in Egypt）。

这起事件发生在4月初，这名57岁的德国人在红海沿岸豪华海滩度假胜地洪加达（Hurghada） 的一家酒店内观看耍蛇表演。

据报道，现场两条据称是眼镜蛇的毒蛇，被缠绕在前来观看表演的观众上身（Two snakes, reported to be Cobras, were draped around the upper-bodies of the audience who had come to see the show）。

据悉，受害者当时任由一条蛇爬进自己的裤腿，随即遭到咬伤。

巴伐利亚警方表示：“耍蛇表演期间，其中一条蛇爬进一名57岁男子的裤内，导致这名德国游客腿部被咬伤。”

德国警方在一份声明中称，受害者出现“明显中毒症状”，送医前曾接受心肺复苏，但最终仍不治身亡（The victim showed "clear signs of poisoning" and had to be resuscitated before being taken to hospital, but he later died）。

声明未透露这名男子的姓名，他来自巴伐利亚州下阿尔高地区，当时与两名家人一同度假。

德国警方与检方正对其死因展开调查，目前正等待毒理学检测结果（German police and prosecutors are investigating his death and are awaiting the results of a toxicology test）。

警方声明补充道：“梅明根刑事警察局在梅明根检察院的指导下，对死亡事件的具体经过展开调查。毒理学检验结果尚未出炉。”

据悉，当地耍蛇表演的表演者通常会让这些爬行动物在游客身上爬行，或将蛇绕在游客脖子上，这似乎是常见环节（It appears as though it is normal for performers at the snake charming shows to allow the reptiles to crawl over guests and that they are place around their necks）。

眼镜蛇以剧毒闻名，多数眼镜蛇携带神经毒素，会攻击中枢神经系统，可迅速导致瘫痪与呼吸衰竭。

若未及时使用抗毒血清或机械通气等救治措施，被眼镜王蛇等大型品种咬伤后，最快30分钟内即可致命（a bite from a large species like the King Cobra can be fatal in as little as 30 minutes）。

耍蛇表演因危险性一直备受争议，同时也遭到动物保护组织批评。

这些组织长期呼吁取缔此类表演，认为其既残忍，在全球部分地区还常被当作宰客的旅游陷阱（which have long lobbied against them for being cruel and often used as a tourist trap in parts of the world）。
